Outreach Field Mapping on LeadGenius

This document will explain how to map LeadGenius fields to Outreach Account/Prospect fields, as well as the overwrite logic that we will use when exporting records to Outreach.

When exporting new data to Outreach (net-new campaigns), we will create new records in Outreach. When exporting CRM Enrichment campaigns to Outreach, we will update your existing Account/Prospect records with updated data.

These instructions assume that you have connected your Outreach account to LeadGenius. If you have not already connected your Outreach account to LeadGenius, follow these instructions to do so.


Configuring Your Mappings

After you have connected Outreach to LeadGenius, you will be brought to the Configure screen. This is where you will choose which Outreach fields correspond to the LeadGenius fields. You will need to confirm these mappings before you are able to import or export data, to or from Outreach.



Anything mapped here will be automatically be used as the default mapping for exports and for any campaigns created. Use the toggle on the left to turn fields on or off for mapping. To the right of that, we have the LeadGenius fields that are present on your lists. The center column shows the Outreach fields that will be used for Accounts/Prospect fields. The right column shows the rules for when we write to those fields in Outreach.

There are separate tabs for Account Objects and Prospect Objects. In addition each of these tabs has pills to set up mapping for Standard, Advanced and Custom (if created) fields.

You may return to this screen an any time in the future to map new fields, The changes will affect all campaigns.

Note: Fields that are in gray and have a muted toggle are required fields and cannot be unmapped or changed. Additionally, once an Outreach field has been mapped to a LeadGenius field, it cannot be mapped to another LeadGenius field unless you unmap your original selection.



Overwrite Logic and Saving your Settings

The Configure screen also determines how we handle the data being exported back to Outreach from LeadGenius. 

  • Always means that we will always update this field when exporting.
  • ​Blank means that we will only update that field if it is blank in your Outreach.



Once you are satisfied with your settings click "Saving Mappings" to apply the changes
